The Training Facilities
Originally used as the first team training ground, FC Porto’s training facility at Constituição Park, also known as the Centro de Treinos e Formação Desportiva PortoGaia, is a state-of-the-art facility that covers an area of over 20,000 square meters. The facility includes a main building, three training fields, and a rehabilitation center.
The main building houses the administrative offices, player facilities, medical facilities, and the club’s museum. The player facilities include dressing rooms, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, and a sauna. The medical facilities include treatment rooms, a sports science laboratory, and a medical imaging center. There’s also a sports café for coaches and players.
The three training fields are designed to accommodate different types of training sessions and are equipped with the latest technology to aid in training and analysis. One of the fields has a partial roof to allow for training sessions in inclement weather.
The rehabilitation center is equipped with a range of facilities to aid in the recovery of injured players. It includes a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna, a hot tub, and an indoor pitch.
