The 2025 adidas Symposium Trip to Juventus

Delivered by Next Generation International, powered by inspiresport, in partnership with adidas

Serving as adidas soccer’s preferred travel partner, Next Generation International, powered by inspiresport recently put together an exclusive symposium experience with Juventus FC in Turin, Italy. Designed to bring together soccer club leaders from across North America, the adidas Symposium trip created an environment where directors and coaches could openly share ideas, discuss their club philosophy, and learn from one another while experiencing one of Europe’s most respected soccer institutions.

Held within Juventus’ world-class facilities, the four-day program combined technical education, behind-the-scenes access to academy operations, and live match experiences, highlighted by a special appearance from Juventus and Italy legend Giorgio Chiellini. The group also got to tour the First Team facility but were sworn to secrecy as to what they saw!

A Platform for Shared Learning

At its core, the adidas Symposium is a collaborative gathering. Each year, club leaders come together not only to learn from the host club but also to learn from each other. The dedicated “Symposium Day” invites every attendee to present their club’s identity, values, and approach to player development, sparking open conversation around shared challenges and new ideas. A big theme of 2025 was around the World Cup and the impact of legacy within their own club, set against the backdrop of the event itself.

This year’s edition provided a unique opportunity for North American club leaders to discuss the evolving youth soccer landscape while gaining perspective from the Juventus environment.

Friday: Introduction to Juventus’ Development Philosophy

Participants arrived in Turin before settling in at the J Hotel, Juventus’ official accommodation. After a welcome lunch, Juventus staff delivered an introductory presentation on the club’s history, structure, and overarching approach to youth development.

The afternoon focused on the Foundation and Early Youth Development phases (U8–U13), where attendees received insight into the club’s methods and overarching objectives for young players. Leaders then visited the Vinovo Training Center to watch live academy sessions corresponding to the age groups discussed. The day closed with a group dinner back at the J Hotel and an opportunity to relax and get to know each other.

Saturday: Symposium Day & The Derby della Mole

Saturday began with the main event of the trip: Symposium Day. Taking place at the J Hotel, each club leader presented their organization’s background, development model and business challenges; encouraging open dialogue and shared learning among the group.

A standout moment came when Giorgio Chiellini arrived as a special guest. The Juventus icon welcomed the group and held a Q&A session, offering reflections on his career, leadership, and experiences within the club.

Later that afternoon, the group made their way to Allianz Stadium to attend Juventus vs. Torino, one of Italy’s most historic rivalries. Immersed in a passionate matchday atmosphere, attendees witnessed top-level Serie A action before returning to the J Hotel for dinner.

Sunday: Late Youth Development Phase & Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Access

Sunday’s programming centered on the Late Youth Development and Professional Development phases (U14–U19 and the “Primavera”), with Juventus staff offering a deeper look into how older players are guided toward higher levels of performance and readiness.

After lunch, participants were treated to a VIP tour of Allianz Stadium and the Juventus Museum, followed by an exclusive site visit to Continassa, the private training ground used by the Juventus Academy and First Team.

The day concluded with a group dinner in the heart of Turin, a relaxed evening enjoying classic Italian pizza.

Conclusion: A Unique Experience for North American Club Leaders

The 2025 adidas Symposium trip to Juventus provided an invaluable blend of education, access, and collaboration. By uniting club leaders from across North America and placing them inside one of Europe’s premier football environments, the symposium fostered meaningful discussion and actionable takeaways. The trip reaffirmed the value of shared learning and Juventus served as an exceptional host, making this year’s symposium an unforgettable experience.
