RCD Mallorca – The Club
Real Club Deportivo Mallorca is a Spanish football team based in Palma, Majorca, in the Balearic Islands. Founded on 5 March 1916, the team currently plays in the Spanish first division, holding home games at the Iberostar Stadium. The oldest club in the Balearic Islands, Mallorca has bounced between the top and the second levels, returning for good in 1996/97, after finishing second to champions CP Mérida. In 2002/03, under Gregorio Manzano, the team finished ninth in the league, also winning the first Copa del Rey trophy in its history.
This is no ordinary football tour, giving budding players the opportunity to receive professional football training from one of Spain’s greatest clubs. Add to the itinerary receive a behind the scenes tour of the Iberostar stadium, and an opportunity to watch Mallorca in action (subject to availability) this is a football development tour not to be missed.
RDC Mallorca Training Facilities
Ciutat Esportiva Antonio Asensio training complex has become the training venue for the first team and all the teams of Real Mallorca; it is also the venue where the reserve team and academy teams play their matches. The facilities, include four football fields regulatory natural grass pitches and 1 artificial turf pitch. The facilities are complemented by nine changing rooms, four of which are located under the stands, a large gym, heated therapy pool, whirlpool and sauna.
