The US Youth Soccer (USYS) National ODP once again delivered a truly unforgettable international experience as players and staff embarked on an elite training and competition tour across Italy. Combining high performance with cultural immersion, the trip provided a perfect platform for development both on and off the pitch.

The tour featured two highly competitive fixtures against elite academy opposition. A narrow 1 to 0 defeat against Inter Milan’s academy side demonstrated the team’s resilience and ability to compete against top tier talent.
The group responded impressively in Florence securing a 2 to 1 victory over Fiorentina’s academy. The performance highlighted the team’s growth over the course of the trip combining tactical discipline with attacking quality to earn a well-deserved win.
